Colourfly is the first Bengali music video where we see man dating a man on Valentine’s Day.

It’s also the first part of a series called Memorandum Of Understanding- the very first inter-related music video series in Bangla.

Civilization and society demand that we hide our true selves. Some call it adjustments, some sacrifice. But either way life goes on with these discomforts in our own skin. Colourfly acknowledges these masks we all wear to conduct respectably in society, hiding our true passions and desires, hiding our flaws and our dark sides, becoming someone else.

Colourfly also paints a surreal picture and highlights the discomfort felt by a particular marginalized and ridiculed portion of the society that literally do not feel comfortable in their own skin. The LGBT community.

Colourfly provides a fantasy escape and shows how a man had to transform into a woman to be able to be loved and be accepted and desired. But everybody has the rights to be loved and desired and no one should go through any transformation. Colourfly challenges hetero-normative societal constructs, Colourfly is a different love story.
