Manthan Songhai Manthan Songhai is where old-school Calcutta style Chinese comes alive, with a legacy deeply rooted in the city’s food story. This Independence Day, the 75 year old eatery will take the celebrations up a notch with a special menu that will feature classic favourites such as Hakka Noodles, Schezwan Hakka Noodles in vibrant red and Green Hakka Noodles, along with Fried Chicken in classic, Schezwan and green herb infused variations. Guests can also enjoy a colourful trio of Paneer Tikkas, including creamy white Makhmali, spicy red Tikka and fragrant Basil Paneer Tikka in green. Among the refreshments, there will be a festive tricolour cocktail, adding a spirited twist to the celebration. It will be a flavour packed tribute to the flag and a perfect example of how food can carry both emotion and innovation.
