The Vegan Restaurants in Kolkata – Must visit places

Several celebrities have gone vegan in the last several years, and a slew of vegan items have hit the shelves. In 1944, a small group of vegetarians in England formed the Vegan Society after breaking away from the Leicester Vegetarian Society.

Benefits of Vegan Foods.

You’ll eliminate meat and animal products if you switch to a vegan diet from a conventional Western diet.

As a result, you’ll have to rely on other foods more frequently. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, peas, nuts, and seeds are used to replace animal products in a whole-foods vegan diet.

Plant-based diets are becoming increasingly popular among those who want to lose weight. It’s possible that there’s a reason behind this. Additionally, eliminating certain animal products may help to lower the risk of prostate, breast, and colon cancers.

Mentioning some of the vegan restaurants in Kolkata,

The Flaming Bowl

Location – 30, Harish Mukherjee Road, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Brief of the Restaurant – The menu included well-known and delicious meals from several Asian countries. The decor was subtle and perfect for Instagram. They were all fantastic: Thai green curry, chili garlic noodles, corn Manchurian, and cheese-stuffed mushrooms. If you go there, you must try Thai green curry, in particular. The music was lovely and appropriate for the tone of the restaurant. The waiters, on the other hand, were incredibly pleasant and helpful.

The Guptas

Location –  Near Camac Street, Shakespeare Sarani Rd, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Brief of the Restaurant – If you want the best lunch in Kolkata, I would recommend going to the Guptas, which is located near Park Street Esplanade Metro. They serve delicious food. It provides a pleasant fine-dining atmosphere. There is also a toilet and a bathroom facility. The employees are friendly and helpful. In addition, the food was excellent.

Crave Food Works

Location – 18, Hindustan Road landmark, beside Bhojohorimanna Restaurant, Gariahat, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Brief of the Restaurant – The ambiance is ideal, and the food quality and quantity are exceptional. The dish is dressed to perfection. During Navratri, most people prefer to eat at this restaurant since it serves vegetarian food. It’s also a great location to learn about Mediterranean food if you don’t usually eat in restaurants with varied kitchens. The food, service, and other features were all excellent. If you’re seeking delicious meals, this is the place to go!

Fly Kouzina

Location – AD 73, 1st Ave Rd, AD Block, Sector 1, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Brief of the Restaurant – The first flight-themed restaurant in Kolkata is located in Saltlake’s BD block. A wonderful vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant. It’s a restaurant that caters to families, with children’s chairs available. It’s also a great place to gather for business. The cheese burst mushrooms, which were quite tasty, were the most recommended food item out of all of them. Having meals on a flight was a fantastic experience. Delicious meal. The only thing that disappointed me was, costly the food was. For a tumbler of lime soda, they cost 167 cents.

Try out these restaurants, and feel the tastes of vegan foods.
