“Massive Fire Breaks Out at Saraf House Near Raj Bhavan in Kolkata”

According to a fire official, a fire occurred at Saraf House, a multi-storey building located near Raj Bhavan in central Kolkata on Wednesday morning. The building was evacuated and there were no immediate reports of casualties. Governor CV Ananda Bose also visited the scene and expressed his readiness to offer any assistance needed. Seven fire tenders were deployed to extinguish the blaze that erupted at 10:05 am in the Dalhousie area. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the evacuation was a precautionary measure. The governor praised the efforts of the firefighters, and senior officials of Kolkata police have also arrived at the location.
